Common reasons a tyre loses pressure slowly
A small object in the tread can allow air to escape gradually. Air can also escape around a valve, from a damaged rim or from a sealing surface that needs attention.
A warning light is a signal to check tyre pressure and condition; it does not by itself identify the fault. The next step is to establish why the pressure changed.

What not to rely on
Inflating the tyre again may restore the pressure temporarily, but it does not establish whether the tyre is safe or whether a repair is possible. Sealants and improvised repairs can also complicate a proper workshop assessment.
